Do Christians Really Think Yoga is Evil?

I was switching stations on the radio once and I was passing through one of those low-frequency stations with the various Christian preachers who host radio shows on various topics, and one day, there was a preacher who was facilitating a discussion on Yoga. It was amazing how so many people were calling in and talking about how Yoga is evil! These are probably the same people who think that dancing is evil, however some of the stories simply amazed me. There was one caller that had said that in the 60's, Yoga was associated with the Beatles and the peace movement.
Okay, that makes sense. But then, her spin on the Beatles was that they were evil and un-Christian too! There was one caller who said that she was very much into Yoga twenty years ago when she was 16 or 17 years old, and she had put herself into a sort of trance with her eyes closed in deep meditation. When she opened her eyes, she said she saw a demon sitting on her sofa. She found out later, that what she saw was a Hindu Goddess that she learned Hindus worship.
Her conclusion was that it was an evil practice and she recommended all good Christians to stay away from the practice. I do not understand why a practice as such as Yoga would be considered evil? I have some Christian Yoga partners and we have talked about this topic, and the conclusion was that not all Christians believe the thoughts of the radio show I heard. As with anything else involving religion, there are a lot of differing views. I am not Christian so my views would be a little biased, however I am wondering what people reading this think. Please let me know!
